The Cinnamon Trust
At The Sash Repair Shop, there are two things we are truly passionate about. One is wooden windows, especially sliding sash windows—and the other is our dogs.
We’ve been extremely privileged to share our lives with four wonderful dogs: Max, Millie, Marnie, and most recently, Poppy. We sadly lost Max last year, after twenty-four wonderful years. He was our first, and very much part of the family.
We believe that a dog is the most wonderful, dedicated, and loving friend and companion you could ever have. Their benefit to our physical and mental health, in our opinion, is immeasurable.
With this in mind, when my wife discovered The Cinnamon Trust, we knew this was a charity we wanted to support.
About the Cinnamon Trust
Since their beginning in 1985, The Cinnamon Trust has been helping keep owners and their pets together for as long as possible.
Their mission is to ensure that older people, and those living with a disability or terminal illness, never have to face the sorrow of parting from their loving companion due to a lack of support.
The services they offer include
Dog walking
Transportation to & from vets for treatment
Short and long-term fostering
Basic daily support and companionship
Two purpose-built sanctuaries for pets while in their care
Arranging a personal and dignified funeral, when needed
